The Omaha Mavericks Women's Tennis team defeated the Western Illinois Leathernecks 6-1 this afternoon to secure a Summit League victory.

After securing the doubles point, Jessica Aragon, Keegan VanPelt, Addison Miller, Brooke Covington and Lillian Tiemeyer all won their matches to help Omaha secure today's victory. Aragon, Van Pelt, Miller and Covington all won in straight sets while Tiemeyer battled back from down 0-1 to win in three sets.

The Mavericks will close out the weekend on Sunday morning when they take on the Tommies of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
