The Omaha Mavericks Men's Tennis Team earned their 13th victory of the season today defeating the Air Force Academy 4-2.

"Today was our best win of the season against a tough Air Force team in altitude," Omaha head coach Matt Barlow said. "Big shoutout to senior Hugo Piles for stepping up to clinch the match for us. Our backs are against the wall as far as conference standings go, so we need to show up again tomorrow in Denver with the same level."

Despite falling behind early after dropping the doubles point, the Mavericks battened down the hatches and battle back to rattle off four singles points to secure the victory. Mikhail Korkunov, Ryoma Mishiro, Hugo Piles Ballester and Quintan Van Wijk all took care of business en route to victory this morning. Korkunov and Mishiro each won their matches in three sets after going down 0-1.

Omaha will now turn their attention to the Denver Pioneers in their regular season finale tomorrow afternoon in Denver. First serve is set for 3:00 p.m.
