The Omaha Mavericks made quick work of the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles tonight sweeping them 3-0 to extend their winning streak to four games.
Omaha Improves to 5-10 on the season and 4-1 in the Summit League. Oral Roberts remains winless in league play and falls to 2-14 on the campaign.
- After dropping the first three points of the opening match, Amanda Hardt put up the Mavericks' first point with a kill. The Mavericks trailed the Golden Eagles but slowing fought back until the game was tied 12-11. With a trio of points, Omaha pulled ahead 14-12. To close out the match, the Mavericks put up five back-to-back kills.
- The Mavericks fell behind by four to open the second match. Omaha responded back with a three points to close the gap 5-4. While the Mavericks continued to trail, they never fell behind more than two points. When the match was 11-10 in favor of ORU, the Mavericks put up three points off two kills and an attack error to take the lead. McKenna Rush sealed the second set 25-18 with a kill.
- After trading points back and forth for the opening several points, Omaha took over full control of the third and final set. Omaha ripped off five straight points to take a 13-6 lead over the Golden Eagles before halting the streaking Mavericks. Oral Roberts would go on to inch closer to Omaha but the closest they would get to tying things up would be down four points. Omaha would go on to close out the set without a hitch to secure their fourth consecutive victory.

The Mavericks more than doubled up the Golden Eagles in kills tonight beating them in the stat category, 49-24.
Emily Huss recorded a season high four blocks in tonight's contest.
