Ohio State scored their first goal 2:07 into the contest while both teams four aside on the ice. 5:05 later, the Buckeyes capitalized on a Maverick turnover in the defensive to extend their lead to 2-0 with the shorthanded tally.

Ohio State added a pair of goals in the final 20 minutes of regulation to ice tonight's series finale.

The Mavericks won the shot battle once again tonight outshooting Ohio State 34-30. The Mavericks also took care of business again on the faceoff dot winning the draw battle 31-26.

Lastly, Omaha's penalty kill remains perfect through four games as they blanked the Buckeyes on all five attempts.
