The Omaha Mavericks will travel to Macomb, Ill. to match up with Western Illinois this Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. The Mavericks beat the Leathernecks earlier this season in a 3-0 shutout and will look to pick up their first road win of the season.

Quick Kicks
    • The Mavericks will take the road with a 5-6-4 overall record and a 2-2-2 conference record.

The Western Illinois Leathernecks have had a tough season as they are 2-12-1 overall on the season. In Summit League play they have gone 1-5 with their first conference win coming against St. Thomas in a 3-2 match. In their 15 matches, the Leathernecks have averaged .47 goals per game and 7.6 shots per game, for a .061 shot percent. Defensively, their opponents have presided the Leathernecks stats. Western Illinois has averaged 2.13 goals against and allowed 12.9 shots per game for a .165 shot percent.

    • Xavier Gagnon leads the Leathernecks in points with four off two goals. Having taken 10 shots, he holds a .200 shot percent.
