Omaha, Neb. -- The Omaha Mavericks record their first scoreless draw of the season in Saturday's match against the Kansas City Roos. The Mavericks persistent defense kept the Roos scoreless, but despite Omaha's best efforts they were unable to get a goal on the board.
The Mavericks now sit with a 5-6-5 overall record and 2-2-2 conference record.
How It Happened
• The first half contained most of the shooting action during tonight's match. The Mavericks got off to a slower start, but found their pace.
• In the first half the Mavericks had five shots and three on goal.

Nathanael Sallah made two big saves in the first half. One being a shot that almost slipped in the bottom corner of the net.
• Going into the half scoreless, both teams were itching for a goal.
• The Mavericks got in four shots and kept the Roos to just three shots, none being on net.
• Omaha found the back of the net late in the second, but it was waived off for being offsides.
• Kansas City fouled twice just outside, giving the Mavericks a couple good looks near the net.
• At the final buzzer, the Mavericks finished the match with a 0-0 tie.
Inside the Box
• The Mavericks led shots nine to six and shots on goal 3-2.
• Omaha had major advantage with six corner kicks, compared to the mere two the Roos were allowed.
• Fouls were in favor of the Roos, as the Mavericks were called for 16 and KC was called for 13.
• The Roos were called for four yellow cards and the Mavericks two.

Mathis Pilon St-Louis and
Junior Casillas led the team in shots with two each.
• Sallah made two saves in tonight's match and recorded his fifth shutout of the season.
• Sallah now holds a 3-3-2 record.
