Earlier this year, Omaha Athletics ran a fan survey from March 21-April 4 in search of Maverick fans' apparel preferences. The two-week survey had close to 1,000 participants and informed the department's decisions on Maverick apparel offerings over the next few seasons. Below are some of the key findings from the survey:
- Omaha fans want to see more logo options available on merchandise
- Omaha fans highly requested access to vintage/retro merchandise
- Omaha fans want the ability to wear authentic sideline gear
- Omaha fans wanted to see athleisure options in stores
Based on the survey responses, Omaha Athletics and its partners collaborated to provide the following:
- Authentic sideline apparel
- A Chancellor's Collection, which focuses on high-end clothing items branded with UNO or University of Nebraska-Omaha
- A Vintage Line to be rolled out in the fall
- A Military Line to be rolled out in conjunction with the military appreciation game
