The Basics
The Mavericks wrap-up four straight games on the road Saturday. Omaha and Oral Roberts are slated for a 7 p.m. start in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Omaha looks to snap a five-game skid, while Oral Roberts is sitting in first place at 9-0 in league play.

• Omaha sits 3-7 in league play following a close loss at Kansas City earlier this week. The game came down to the final possession with the Roos coming out on top, 64-61.
• The Mavericks were led by
Frankie Fidler and
Tony Osburn who scored 12 points each.
• In league play, the Mavericks have wins over Denver, North Dakota, and Western Illinois.
• Against the Pioneers, the Mavericks soared to an 83-66 win on their home court and were led by

JJ White scored a career-high 18, while Fidler added 16 points.
• Then at Western Illinois, Omaha snuck out a 78-74 win with four players in double-figures. Fidler led the Mavericks with his second double-double of the season tallying 21 points and 10 rebounds.

• Omaha's last league win came against North Dakota back on Jan. 12 when the Mavericks grabbed a 69-63 win at Baxter Arena.
• Fidler yet again led Omaha with 17 points and narrowly missed the double-double with eight boards.
• Sutton added 16 points and nine rebounds, while White finished with 11 points, five boards, and four assists.
• In Omaha's last game at South Dakota, Jungers dropped a career-high 27 points on 8-of-14 from the field, including six from deep.
• Osburn also stepped up for the Mavericks falling just shy of his career-high with 13 points vs. the Coyotes. They were Omaha's top-scorers at USD in the loss.
• Fidler recently held a nine-game double-figure scoring streak dating Dec. 13 through Jan. 19. During that stretch, he scored at least 20 points twice, which included 21 points at WIU.
• From the free throw line, the Mavericks have found easy points all season long. They currently rank 10th in the NCAA shooting 78.5 percent. Omaha is led by Fidler who is shooting 90.1 percent ranking 16th in the nation.
• Omaha's bench has stepped up for the Mavericks this season. Currently, the Maverick bench is averaging 23.76 points per game, which is 85th in the NCAA. The bench has outscored Omaha's opponent's bench 13 times this season.
• Head coach
Chris Crutchfield has an 17-24 overall coaching record. It marks his second season as a head coach and first with the Mavericks.
Scouting the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles
Oral Roberts is off to a hot start in conference play sitting alone at the top of the standings with an undefeated 9-0 record. The Golden Eagles are 18-4 overall and have only suffered losses to Saint Mary's, No. 3 Houston, Utah State, and New Mexico State. ORU leads the league averaging 85.0 ppg, which ranks fourth in the NCAA.
Max Abmas leads ORU averaging 22.2 ppg, which leads the league and sits fourth in the nation. Abmas finds himself in the national top-20 in total field goal attempts, free throw percentage, total points, points per game, three-point attempts, three-pointers per game, and total three-pointers made per game. He's scored in double-figures in all but two games this season, including a season-high 37 points vs. Western Illinois earlier this month. He was 7-of-10 from deep.
Paul Mills is in his sixth season at the helm of the Golden Eagles. He's compiled a 94-83 record leading ORU. They currently have the best win percentage under Mills' guidance.
All-Time Against Oral Roberts
ORU leads the all-time series 16-4 after gaining another win earlier this season at Baxter Arena. The Mavericks took the Golden Eagles down to the wire narrowly falling, 92-89. Fidler lead Omaha with 20 points, Jungers scored 16, Osburn added 14, Sutton recorded 13, and White and Arop tallied 11 points each.
