SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Summit League named Nathanael Sallah its TicketSmarter Defensive Peak Performer of the Week Tuesday afternoon. It marks the first weekly accolade for Omaha men's soccer this season.

Sallah earned the honor twice last season in November.

The Mavericks recorded a 1-0 win last week vs. San Diego State. Sallah logged all 90 minutes between the pipes for his first shutout of the season. He is one of four league keepers with a shutout in 2022.

Sallah made four saves helping him to second in the league with a .706 save percentage. He averages 4.0 saves per game which is tied third.
