On Wednesday, May 11, at 7 p.m., UNO will be hosting Union Omaha's US Open Cup match vs the Northern Colorado Hailstorm at Caniglia Field.  This will be the first ever professional soccer match hosted at UNO and a special homecoming for three former Maverick student-athletes who currently play for Union Omaha – Hugo Kametani, Ed Gordon and Emir Alihodzic. 

Led by former UNO head coach Jason Mims, Union Omaha earned a place among the final round of 32 in the elimination tournament after defeating rival, Des Moines Menace and after scoring a historic upset vs Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire in April.

UNO students will be able to attend at NO COST by presenting their MAVCARD at the Northwest Entrance of the stadium.  We hope that our students are able to attend and enjoy a small reprieve from final exams.  In addition to normal concessions, there will be food trucks and a hospitality area available for fans.  Faculty and staff can CLICK HERE to access ticketing information for the match which are $17.
