OMAHA, Neb. - Radio for Omaha Hockey, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball games will shift exclusively to The Varsity Network ahead of the 2026-27 season. 

Fans can download the free Mavericks app to listen to all home and road games for Hockey, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball on mobile devices. Omaha fans can use the app to set up notifications for their favorite Mavericks sports, so they never miss out on a minute of the action, no matter where they may be in the world. To download, fans simply need to search "Mavericks" in the app store and download the app with the Omaha "O" icon. 

"We're always looking for ways to better connect Omaha Athletics with our fans, alumni and supporters, and The Varsity Network helps us do exactly that," said Camden Stockton, Executive Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs. "This partnership provides an easy, reliable way for Maverick fans to follow our teams from anywhere in the world while giving Omaha Athletics a platform that's trusted by many of the nation's premier athletic programs. It's another step forward in enhancing the fan experience and expanding the reach of our student-athletes and the Maverick brand." 

Streams can also be listened to via The Varsity Network app or the Omaha Athletics website. The Varsity Network is a free audio hub that broadcasts radio for all Learfield properties. 

The voices of Omaha Athletics Mike Vaillancourt (Hockey), Terry Leahy (Hockey), Gary Sharp (Men's Basketball) and Brent Weber (Women's Basketball) will all return for another year with the Mavericks.
