STILLWATER, Okla. – Freshman
Todd Chen topped Oklahoma State's Seb Nothfaft 6-3, 6-3 at No. 3 singles Friday, but that was the lone win Omaha could muster in a 6-1 loss to the Cowboys.
OSU won the other five singles matches in straight sets and secured the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and 3 doubles. The third doubles matched was tied 5-5 after 10 games but remained unfinished.
"We definitely learned some things about ourselves on this trip, and we'll take those ideas down to Florida next week," Omaha coach
Matthew Barlow said. "Todd really brought it today and took down his opponent in straights. That was great to see. I'm happy for him."
