Omaha wrapped up the nonconference portion of its schedule with a pair of home matches Sunday.
The Mavericks (9-9) lost their opening matchup with Drake in the morning 7-0 then bounced back to beat Sioux Falls 7-0 later in the day at the Miracle Hill Tennis Center.
Brooke Covington was the lone Omaha player to participate in both singles and doubles play in the latter match as coach
Adam Summitt featured 11 different Mavericks in his lineup against the Cougars. She didn't drop a game in her win at No. 4 singles, and she and Justin Linscott won 6-0 at No. 3 doubles.
Keegan VanPelt and
Addison Miller each dropped only one game in their singles victories while
Madison Gallegos lost only two.
In the opening match of the day,
Alexia Di Giulio went to a third-set tiebreaker at No. 2 singles. All other singles matches were decided in two.
Omaha has four matches remaining on its schedule. All are against Summit League opponents.
