SAN ANTONIO – Omaha wrapped up its Texas trip Tuesday with a 6-1 loss at Incarnate Word.
Keegan VanPelt went 2-0 in her matches, earning the only point of the day for the Mavericks when she topped UIW's Lauren Fulgenzi 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.
She and
Natalie Lorentz teamed up for a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles, but the Cardinals took the other two matches to claim the doubles point.
Colby Kelley and
Addison Miller both took the opening set of their singles matches but lost in three.
Omaha is idle until March 26, when it returns to Summit League play by hosting Oral Roberts.
