Matt Hulme and
Mikhail Korkunov picked up singles wins as Omaha opened its weekend in North Dakota with a 5-2 loss to Montana State at Choice Health and Fitness.
Hulme swept MSU's Matej Panik 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles while Korkunov rallied from down a set to beat Jamieson Nathan 3-6, 7-6, 6-1 in the No. 3 position.
Although Montana State claimed the doubles point,
Hugo Piles Ballester and
Davis Lawley earned a win in their No. 2 doubles match. Lawley later had to retire in the first set of his singles match due to injury.
