Five different Tigers topped 10 points today, led by Lauren Hansen with 15. Sara Rose-Smith was right behind her with 13, as well as 12 rebounds to earn a double-double.

Inside the First Quarter
The Mavericks had plenty of opportunities in the first period, but simply could not catch a break as they shot 1-for-12 (.083), including 0-for-5 from three.
Down 11-0, Townsend scored Omaha's first points of the day at 5:53 on a jumper following a Mizzou travel. Cave and
Polina Nikulochkina would score the rest of Omaha's points, each going a perfect 2-for-2 from the line in the final three minutes.
A big part of Mizzou's early lead was their accuracy from behind the arc, going 5-for-9 (.556) including two from Haley Troup.
Inside the Second Quarter
Through the first half of the quarter, Omaha's defense was rock solid, holding the Tigers to just four points on a .250 shooting percentage (2-for-8) in the first six minutes.
Overall, the Mavericks pulled down seven defensive boards in the period, with
Aaliyah Stanley and Pilakouta leading the way with two each. Keitges also blocked her first shot of the year at 7:43 when she batted away a layup attempt from Mama Dembele. Cave also blocked a shot of her own with just over 30 seconds left in the period, just getting a finger on a three-point attempt by Mizzou's top scorer Lauren Hansen.
On offense, Cave did most of the work for the Mavericks, notching their first three-pointer of the game at 4:12 and adding two more points with another jumper at 1:24.
Inside the Third Quarter
Omaha finally started getting into an offensive groove in the third quarter, putting up more points than in the entire first half.
Cave kicked things off with her second three-pointer at 8:15, followed by back-to-back buckets from Stanley and Townsend a couple minutes later.
Akili Felici also drained a three with her first shot of the day at 3:21, before
Morgann Gardner sunk a couple of jumpers within 30 seconds of each other to get Omaha to 18 points in the quarter.
Inside the Fourth Quarter
The Mavericks could not carry their momentum into the fourth, however, as the Tigers retook control of the court. Omaha's first basket came almost four minutes into the period on shot from the elbow. Their only other points in the period would come on a 3-PT FG from Stanley at 3:30.
