OMAHA, Neb. - The Mavericks and Pioneers meet Friday, Oct. 1 for a rematch of last season's conference championship. It is the first Summit League contest for either team this season. Omaha wrapped up non-conference action with a 1-0 loss to No. 20 Gonzaga, while Denver fell 2-1 at San Diego. Both teams are looking to rebound and tally points in the league standings.

	- The Mavericks wrapped up non-conference action with a 3-4-2 record after falling to No. 20 Gonzaga, 1-0. Omaha earned wins vs. UNI, Northern Colorado, and Nebraska.

- Emilie Erland leads Omaha with eight shots and five on goal. Andrea Daves and Regan Zimmers added seven shots each.
- Cece Behrens, Erland, and Sophia Green have Omaha's three goals through non-conference action. Daves has a team-leading two assists.
Scouting the Denver Pioneers
The Pioneers are 5-5-0 heading into the league opening weekend with the Mavericks. Despite sitting at .500, Denver has put up 24 goals in its non-conference portion of the schedule. The Pioneers posted a 5-0 win in their season opener vs. Air Force. The added another multi-goal shutout vs. Utah winning 3-0. Denver also took a 6-2 win vs. Northern Arizona, which is the second most a league team has score in a match this season.
Pioneers to Watch
	- Sydney Sharp leads the Pioneers and is third in the league with 14 points this season. She has scored a goal in six games this year and added two assists. Sharp averages 1.60 shots on goal per game ranking second on the league leaderboards.
- Sami Feller comes in at second in the Denver squad with 10 points. She's scored one goal and tallied eight assists for the Pioneers. Fells has 22 shots with 10 on goal so far this year.
- Nerea Arrazola has started all 10 matches in goal and logged nearly 900 minutes. She's tallied 21 saves and has a .553 save percentage.

Denver leads the all-time series 10-1-0. The Mavericks and Pioneers met three times last season. The final meeting was in the Summit League Championship where Denver took a 3-0 win for a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
