OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha wraps up a three-game road trip at Nebraska Thursday before returning home to host Northern Colorado on Sunday. The Mavericks are on a two-game skid after falling to K-State and Wyoming. Omaha is looking for their first road win and to remain perfect at Caniglia.
 
Sunday's match vs. Northern Colorado has been changed to a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Quick Kicks
  • The Mavericks opened 2021 action with a win at home vs. Northern Iowa, 1-0, before falling in two straight road matches to K-State and Wyoming.

Nebraska downed Western Illinois, 3-0, and Missouri, 5-0, for back-to-back shutouts. The team's first loss came last week vs. Oklahoma in double overtime. In the spring, Nebraska posted a 2-5-3 record with wins vs. Purdue and Iowa.
 
Huskers to Watch
  • Reagan Raabe has seven points through the first four matches. She's netted three goals and tallied an assist. Raabe has one game winner, nine shots on goal, and 11 shots this season.
  • Abbey Schwarz leads the Huskers with three assists this season, while Eleanor Dale added two goals and an assist.
  • Sami Hauk made all four starts for Nebraska in goal logging 327 minutes. She is posted a .28 goals against average, a .960 save percentage, and 24 saves this season.
 
Scouting the Northern Colorado Bears
The Bears are 1-2-1 to start the season. UNC opened the year with a 3-1 win vs. Colorado College and then played to a 0-0 draw with Air Force on its home turf. UNC dropped its next two matches at Utah State and at Utah. In the spring, the Bears posted a 3-3-2 record. They tallied back-to-back wins vs. Idaho State and another vs. Northern Arizona.
 
Bears to Watch
• Lexi Pulley leads the Bears with two goals this season. She has one game winner, five shots on goal, and eight shots.
• Haley O'Nan has the other UNC goal on the year. She netted her lone shot on goal of the year.
• Morgan Bury has made 4 starts in goal and logged 335 minutes between the pipes. She's recorded 21 saves and has a 1.61 GAA and a .778 save percentage.
 
Series History
This marks the first regular season meeting between the Mavericks and Huskers. Northern Colorado leads the all-time series 8-4-0.
