SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Mike Boeve and Jayden Maifeld swept Summit League weekly awards this week following Omaha's series win at Western Illinois. Boeve was tabbed Player of the Week, while Maifeld earned Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Boeve is the third Maverick to be named Summit League Player of the Week this season after leading Omaha to a 3-1 series win at Western Illinois last weekend.

The Hastings, Neb., native went .412 at the plate with three doubles, seven RBI and five runs scored.

Boeve went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, two RBI and a run in Friday's win and had a double, three RBI and two runs on Saturday before going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored on Sunday.

Maifeld is the fourth Maverick pitcher to earn the weekly accolade after picking up his first win of the season in a 7-1 victory in game two on Friday.

The Ankeny, Iowa, native tossed a complete-game two-hitter and struck out three batters. Maifeld allowed one run on two hits and limited the WIU offense to .087 hitting at the plate.
