WICHITA, Kan. – The Omaha baseball team fell 9-0 in game two of the weekend series at Wichita State on Saturday afternoon at Eck Stadium in Wichita, Kan.
The loss drops the Mavericks to 8-11 while the Shockers improve to 11-8.
How it Happened
- Masen Prososki reached out a two-out single in the second and Grant Goldston followed with a double to right field, but the Mavericks couldn't scratch across the game's first run.
- Wichita State scored the first run of the game in the second and added two more on a two-RBI double in the third.
- A three-RBI double and sacrifice fly expanded the WSU lead to seven in the fifth before the Shockers scored the final two runs of the day in the sixth off a two-RBI single.

- Mike Boeve and Prososki led Omaha at the plate with two hits each.
- Adam Gadsden, Chris Esposito and Goldston also recorded a hit on Saturday.
