SPOKANE, Wash. – The Omaha men's tennis team suffered a pair of losses at Gonzaga on Saturday in Spokane, Wash.
The Mavericks fell 4-0 in the first match before dropping a 4-3 decision in the second match.
Match One: Gonzaga 4, Omaha 0
Doubles Play
The Bulldogs took two doubles matches to clinch the doubles point over the Mavericks.
Singles Play
Gonzaga pieced together three straight-set victories in the No. 1, 3 and 5 matches to clinch the 4-0 victory over Omaha.

Matt Hulme and
Abdoul Ouattara posted a win in the No. 1 spot while
Davis Lawley and
Hugo Piles Ballester collected a win in the No. 2 match to give the Mavericks the doubles point.
Singles Point
Gonzaga tied the match at one with a win in the No. 5 match before Lawley won his match in the No. 4 spot in straight sets to give the Mavericks a 2-1 advantage. The Bulldogs reeled off three consecutive wins in the No. 6, 3 and 2 matches to post the match-clinching fourth point and take a 4-2 lead. Hulme capped the match with a three-set win in the No. 1 spot.
