Mavericks Open Road Trip at Kansas City

OMAHA, Neb. – The Mavericks hit the road for a four-game trip. The trip opens at Kansas City with a two-game series this weekend. Omaha and UMKC meet Friday, March 19 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, March 21 at 1 p.m. The Mavericks are riding a four-game win streak into the series, while the Roos dropped their last two matches. Omaha is 2-2-0 on the road this season.

  • Emily Jensen and Sarah Karloff lead the Roos with two goals each this season. Jensen also has an assist and leads the team with five points. She also has 12 shots.
  • Hayden Burnett leads Kansas City with three assists. She has one goal and ties Jensen with five points as a team leader. Burnett has six shots this season.
  • Mackenzie Caldwell has made six starts and seven appearances between the pipes. She's allowed 16 goals and has a 2.46 GAA. She has 27 saves this year and has a .667 save percentage. Caldwell is 3-3-0 this season.

Omaha leads the all-time series 3-1-0. The teams last met on Sept. 10, 2017 in Kansas City. The Mavericks shutout the Roos, 1-0, after converting a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.
