OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha baseball team's road series at Kansas originally scheduled for Friday-Sunday, March 12-14, has been moved to UNO's Tal Anderson Field this weekend.
The teams will play a doubleheader on Friday, March 12 beginning at 11 a.m. and follow with another doubleheader on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The move was made because of a forecast for rain all weekend in Lawrence, Kan.
As an appreciation for its tremendous community support, Omaha Athletics is making tickets for each doubleheader available to fans for free. Distribution will be on Thursday from 1-5 p.m. at the Baxter Arena box office. Each fan can request up to four tickets per day.
Any remaining tickets will be available on Friday beginning at 11 a.m. at the Maverick Park box office. Similarly, any remaining tickets for Saturday will be available that day from 10-11 a.m.
Students will be able to request tickets by showing their student ID.
