The Omaha women's basketball team returns to Summit League play this weekend with a pair of home games vs. Western Illinois on Saturday and Sunday. Tipoff for Saturday is set for 3 p.m. while Sunday's tipoff is at 4 p.m.

- Danni Nichols has scored in double-figures in eight out of 10 Summit League contests this season while scoring 11.7 points per game for WIU this season.
- As a team, the Leathernecks are scoring 65.3 points per game while shooting 38.1 percent from the field and 30 percent from three-point range.
- Head coach JD Gravina is in his 10th season leading WIU with a record of 152-144. Overall, Gravina is in his 15th season as a head coach with a career record of 266-205.

Saturday's matchup marks the 21
st all-time meeting between Omaha and Western Illinois. The Leathernecks lead the all-time series over the Mavericks, 16-4.
Three of Omaha's four victories over Western Illinois have come at Baxter while the Mavericks have picked up one win on the road in Macomb over the Leathernecks.
In their last meeting, Western Illinois posted a 79-66 win over Omaha on Feb. 20, 2020 in Macomb, Ill.
Continuity Beyond the Arc
The Mavericks hold a 239-game streak of connecting on at least one three-pointer in a game. The Mavericks hit five treys vs. South Dakota State on Friday afternoon while
Ella Ogier connected on the lone three-pointer for Omaha on Saturday afternoon to preserve the streak.
The last time Omaha was shut out behind the three-point line was South Dakota on Feb. 28, 2013 where the Mavericks went from 0-8 from long distance.
