OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha softball has announced changes to its upcoming schedule for the weekend. Dates and times have been altered as well as an additional game added to the slate.
The Mavericks are set to play in the Michelle Short Memorial Classic hosted by Central Arkansas this weekend. The tournament was originally scheduled for Friday-Sunday and will now be played Thursday, Feb. 25 through Saturday, Feb. 27. The Mavericks also added a fifth game to the schedule that was originally four games.
On Thursday, Feb. 25, Omaha will open action with host school Central Arkansas at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 2 p.m. contest with Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
The Mavericks will play Missouri State to open Friday's play at 10 a.m. A newly scheduled game with Arkansas-Pine Bluff will immediately follow it at 12:15 p.m.
The tournament will wrap up with a 10 a.m. game vs. Missouri State on Saturday, Feb. 27.
