The Omaha women's basketball team continues Summit League play with a pair of road games at Kansas City on Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13. Both games are set for a 2 p.m. tipoff at the Swinney Center in Kansas City, Mo.

  • Opponents are scoring 72.7 points per game and shooting 43.2 percent from the field while posting a +2.7 rebounding margin over Kansas City.
  • Head coach Jacie Hoyt is in her fourth season leading Kansas City and has posted a record of 55-52.
All-Time Against Kansas City
Friday's matchup marks the 10th all-time meeting between Omaha and Kansas City. The Mavericks lead the all-time series over the Roos, 6-3.
 
In their last meeting, Omaha posted a 57-53 win over the Roos on Dec. 4, 2019 in Baxter Arena.
 
Killian's Career Day
Killian poured in a career-high 29 points while shooting 7-of-10 from three-point range in Omaha's 105-102 win in double overtime over Western Illinois last weekend. The seven treys are tied for third all-time in program history while the 70 percent three-point shooting clip is tied for fourth all-time.
 
Continuity Beyond the Arc
The Mavericks hold a 241-game streak of connecting on at least one three-pointer in a game. The Mavericks hit a season-high 13 treys vs. Western Illinois last Saturday and buried seven from long distance on Sunday to preserve the streak.

The last time Omaha was shut out behind the three-point line was South Dakota on Feb. 28, 2013 where the Mavericks went 0-8 from long distance.
 
Looking Ahead
Omaha welcomes North Dakota to Baxter Arena next weekend for the final home games of the season. The Mavericks and Fighting Hawks take the court on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19-20. Tipoff for both games is set for 3 p.m.
