Mavericks, Panthers Compete in Final Meet of 2021

Dec 17, 2021

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha swimming & diving team was back in action Friday afternoon with a meet vs. UNI at H&K Pool. The teams swam 11 relays and competed in two diving events to close 2021 action.

"It is always fun to mix up the traditional meet – this time we created a relay meet," said head coach Todd Samland. "Everyone is relying on the other which gives us a greater reason to pull out our best efforts. It felt like we had good energy today, but we were definitely tired from this week as finals week wrapped up. It is time to recharge as we head into a very taxing segment of our training before we start tapering for the conference championships."
