The Omaha women's basketball team opens its 2021-22 campaign at No. 12 Iowa State on Tuesday Nov. 9. Tipoff is set for 11 a.m. at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ while Jon Schriner will have the radio call on 1180 Zone 2, entering his third season as the voice of Omaha women's basketball. Links to live stats, audio and video are available on OMavs.com.

Scouting the Iowa State Cyclones
Iowa State was 17-11 (12-6 Big 12) in 2020-21 and received a seventh seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Cyclones were picked second in the 2021-22 Big 12 Preseason Poll and enter the season ranked No. 12 in the Associated Press Preseason Poll.
Head coach Bill Fennelly enters his 27
th season leading the Cyclones and holds a record of 540-284. Overall, Fennelly has an all-time record of 706-337 while beginning his 34
th season.
All-Time Against Iowa State
Wednesday marks the sixth meeting between Omaha and Iowa State, with the Mavericks leading the all-time series, 3-2.
Before last season's opener, the Mavericks and Cyclones hadn't met on the hardwood since 1983, where Omaha picked up a narrow 66-65 win on Dec. 3, 1983. The two teams played three consecutive years from 1978 to 1980, with the Mavericks recording victories in 1978 and 1980.
