Omaha Set For Oral Roberts and Kansas City

OMAHA, Neb. - The Mavericks are coming off a 2-0 weekend on the road at conference members Western Illinois and St. Thomas. Omaha will host Oral Roberts and Kansas City this week. Oral Roberts sits in the middle of the conference standings and will play Omaha on Friday, Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. UMKC sits in third heading into the week and will play Omaha on Sunday, Oct. 17 at 1 p.m.

Quick Kicks
• The Mavericks picked up six points in the standings last week with a pair of wins at Western Illinois and St. Thomas to improve to 2-1-0 in league play.
Grace Ostergaard and Cece Behrens tallied goals in the win vs. the Leathernecks. Behrens' goal marks her second game winner of the season.
Marissa Gohr netted the game winner 13 minutes into action at St. Thomas. Grace Thede sent a cross into the box where Gohr used one touch to put it home. It marked her first career-goal.
• The Mavericks and Roos are tied for third in the standings. Both teams sit with six points in Summit League action.

Scouting the Golden Eagles
Oral Roberts is 4-7-2 overall and 1-2-1 in league play. The Golden Eagles picked up a 3-1 win vs. South Dakota last week and tied South Dakota State 1-1. Their two conference losses are to North Dakota State and North Dakota, while their other two wins were vs. Northwestern Oklahoma State and Jackson State.

Golden Eagles to Watch
• Pamela Caballeros leads ORU with 16 points on seven goals and two assists this season. She scored two goals in back-to-back matches vs. Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Northwestern Oklahoma.
• Samantha Siy adds 11 points on three goals and five assists. She recorded a pair of assists vs. Arkansas Pine-Bluff for a season-high.
• Louisa Ramsauer has made 13 starts between the pipes. She has 61 saves for a .718 save percentage. Ramsauer has a 1.8 goals against average having given up 24 goals.

Scouting the Kansas City Roos
The Roos are 4-10-0 overall and 2-2-0 in league play. UMKC won its first two league games vs. North Dakota and North Dakota State. The Roos followed that with two looks vs. South Dakota State and South Dakota. They also have wins this season vs. Missouri State and Southern Illinois.

Roos to Watch
• Kassi Ginther leads the Roos with nine points on four goals and an assist. She added a team leading 30 shots on the year.
• Rileigh Kuhns and Emma Wilson add four points. Kuhns has a goal and two assists, while Wilson has two goals. Wilson leads the team with 11 shots on goal.
• Mackenzie Caldwell has made 10 starts in goal. She has 61 saves for a .772 save percentage. Through the ten matches, Cladwell posted a 1.77 goals against average.

The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series 5-4-0, while Omaha leads Kansas City 4-1-1.
