OMAHA, Neb. — Former Omaha men's basketball standout Tra-Deon Hollins was named to the 2019-20 NBA G League All-Defensive Team as part of the league's annual postseason awards announced at the end of June.
Hollins, a three-year veteran of the G League, played the 2019-20 season with the Grand Rapids Drive in Grand Rapids, Mich. He earned all-defensive honors after averaging 6.9 points, 3.6 rebounds. 8.4 assists and 2.7 steals per game.
Hollins helped the Drive rank as the league's top defense and also ranks first individually for steals per game.
Award winners were chosen in a vote of the G League's 28 head coaches and general managers.
