OMAHA, Neb. -- Head coach
Derrin Hansen announced Wednesday the addition of Dylan Brougham for the 2020-21 season.
A 6-9, 195-pound center, Brougham was a three-year letterwinner under coach Dan Parra at Park Hill South High School in Riverside, Mo., which also produced Maverick guard
La'Mel Robinson.
As a senior, Brougham was first-team all-district and a first-team all-conference selection after averaging 10.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game. His team finished as district runner-up in 2019-20, and Brougham was named to the 2020 Missouri All-Star Team.
Brougham also lettered one year in track & field and played AAU ball for Anthony Perry in the MOKAN program.
"We're excited about Dylan Brougham walking on to our program," Hansen said. "There is a level of familiarity with his game, as he comes from the same Park Hill South program as
La'Mel Robinson.
"Dylan brings size and athleticism to our front court. With his skillset and a probable redshirt season, he can be a strong contributor to our success and a good player in the Summit League in years to come."
