GREELEY, Colo. – The Omaha softball team posted a sweep on Saturday with victories over Utah Valley and UNI in Greeley, Colo.
The Mavericks won 12-2 over Utah Valley in five innings before recording a 3-1 victory over UNI.
With the sweep, Omaha moves to 12-11 on the season.
Game One: Omaha 12, Utah Valley 2 (F/5)
How It Happened
- Emily Klosterman began the game with a single before coming home on an RBI single by Jamie White to give Omaha a 1-0 advantage in the first.
- Utah Valley tied the game in the bottom of the second with a solo homer.
- The Mavericks took the lead back in the fourth off an RBI double from White and when Lynsey Tucker raced home on a Wolverine error.
- The Wolverines cut the Omaha lead in half with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth.
- The Maverick offense poured on nine runs in the top of the fifth, beginning with Janae Cameron's three-run blast to center.
- Sydney Ross added an RBI single and Klosterman drew a bases-loaded walk before Alexa Sedlak ripped a three-RBI double to clear the bases.
- White capped the scoring for Omaha with an RBI single through the right side.
Inside the Box Score
- White went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with three RBI while Cameron went 3-for-4 with three RBI.
- Sedlak added three RBI while hitting 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
- Klosterman garnered two hits while scoring a team-high three runs.
- Sydney Hampton tallied her 10th victory of the season, throwing three innings and allowing one run on three hits.
- Kamryn Meyer pitched the final two innings in relief.

How It Happened
- The Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third with a solo homer to right center.
- Ross opened the fifth with an infield single and Emma Dargy dropped a single into right before Tucker entered the game to pinch-run for Dargy.
- Klosterman drew a walk to load the bases, followed by Sedlak unloading a three-RBI double down the left field line to give the Mavericks a 3-1 lead.

- Klosterman went 3-for-3 at the plate with a run scored and a walk.
- Ross added two hits while Sedlak posted a team-high three RBI.
- Meyer tossed the complete-game victory, allowing one run on four hits and striking out three batters.
