OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's basketball program takes on South Dakota State tomorrow, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m. in Brookings, S.D.
The Mavericks meet the Jackrabbits for the second time this season and hit the road after four-straight conference home games. Fans can follow the action via 1180 Zone 2, as Jon Schriner will be on the call.

SCOUTING SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
The Jackrabbits sit at 17-7 overall and 9-1 in league play. South Dakota State is coming off a 75-61 win over Oral Roberts on the road Feb. 1. Since the team's 83-48 defeat at South Dakota, the Jackrabbits have won three-straight league games.
Paiton Burckhard leads the team and ranks fifth in the league with 14.7 points per game. Tagyn Larson follows with 11.4 points per game as the other Jackrabbit averaging double figures.
LAST MEETING WITH SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
Omaha fell 68-51 in its Summit League opener to the Jackrabbits Dec. 29, 2019, in Baxter Arena. The trio of Claire Killian, Josie Filer and Ella Ogier combined for 36 of the team's 51 points. Killian led the way with 14, while Filer and Ogier notched 11 apiece. Filer also recorded a team-high six boards in the game. Paiton Burckhard nearly had a double-double with a game-high 21 points and nine rebounds on 10-of-16 shooting. Rylie Cascio Jensen was the only other Jackrabbit in double figures with 14 points.
