OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha softball team travels west for a five-game slate at the Amy S. Harrison Classic hosted by UC Riverside this weekend in Riverside, Calif.
The Mavericks face UC Riverside on Friday at 1:30 p.m. before taking on Michigan State at 4 p.m. Omaha begins action on Saturday with Montana at 11 a.m. before a rematch with UC Riverside at 4 p.m. The Mavericks play their final game on Sunday at 11 a.m. against Michigan State.

Scouting the Michigan State Spartans
The Michigan State Spartans come into the fourth weekend of the season carrying a 3-10 overall record after posting wins over Harvard and FGCU last weekend in Fort Myers, Fla.
Caitie Ladd is hitting .351 at the plate with three doubles, a home run and four RBI for the Spartans. Sarah Ladd is 1-8 on the season with a 2.10 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 43.1 innings.
Scouting the Montana Grizzlies
The Montana Grizzlies are 6-9 on the season after knocking off No. 23 Arkansas at the Razorback Invitational last weekend.
Maygen McGrath is hitting .326 with three doubles, five home runs and nine RBI for the Grizzlies. In the circle, Tristin Achenbach is 4-5 with 10 appearances and an ERA of 3.43 in 51 innings of work.
