SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Omaha women's tennis program dropped 4-0 result against Central Arkansas Friday afternoon.
The Mavericks fall to 6-2 overall with the loss.
UCA took the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. The duo of
Ines Absisan and
Madison Gallegos fell 6-3 at No. 1 and
Lillian Tiemeyer and
Savanna Crowell fell 6-3 at No. 3. At No. 2,
Natalie Lorentz and
Marie Kapelevich won 6-2 at No. 2.
Central Arkansas clinched the match with singles wins at No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6. Omaha fell behind 2-0 after Crowell fell 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5. UCA picked up its third and fourth points as Tiemeyer dropped a 6-1, 6-1 result at No. 6 and Gallegos fell 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2. The remaining matches were recorded as unfinished.
