Women's Basketball Travels To Purdue Fort Wayne

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha women's basketball looks ahead to a 1 p.m. (CT) matchup on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Purdue Fort Wayne.

OPENING TIP 
•    The Mavericks and Mastodons both have identical Summit League records at 1-12. 
•    Omaha aims to bounce back from a 58-57 loss against Purdue Fort Wayne on Jan. 26 in Baxter Arena earlier this season. 
•    The Mavericks look to erase an 11-game Summit League skid. 
•    Rayanna Carter is coming off a career-best 21 points in the 79-66 loss at Western Illinois Thursday evening. 
•    Mariah Murdie leads the team in points (10.7), rebounds (6.2) and blocks (1.2) per game.

SCOUTING PURDUE FORT WAYNE 
The Mastodons sit at 5-21 overall and 1-12 in league action. The game against Omaha marks senior day for Purdue Fort Wayne. Senior Hannah Albrecht nears 1,000 career points with her team, while freshman Rylie Ott's 11.3 points per game are the most by a Mastodon in its Division I era. Albrecht leads the team with 12.9 points per game. 

LAST TIME OUT AGAINST PURDUE FORT WAYNE 
The Omaha women's basketball program fell 58-57 at home to Purdue Fort Wayne on a pair of late Mastodon free throws with under a second to play. Ella Ogier capped off another strong performance with a career-high 21 points on 7-for-13 shooting with six assists and seven rebounds. She also went a perfect 6-for-6 at the lie. Josie Filer followed with 13 points and five rebounds with a block. Mariah Murdie posted nine points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

SENIOR NIGHT ON THE HORIZON
