Scouting the New Mexico State Aggies
The New Mexico State Aggies are in their 17th season under head coach Kathy Rodolph. Rodolph was the head coach at Angelo State for two seasons before arriving at NMSU, tallying a 69-34 record in that tenure. She currently is the winningest head coach at New Mexico State with a record of 501-413 and is 570-447 overall in her 19th season.

The Aggies are off to a 3-1 start to their 2020 season. NSMU played Nebraska, Bradley, No. 20 Arkansas and UTEP while hosting the Troy Cox Classic last weekend.

Matalasi Faapito leads the Aggies at the plate. In four starts, Faapito is hitting .727 with a double, four home runs, eight runs batted in and six runs scored. Ramsay Lopez has a .500 batting average while posting a double, three home runs and six RBI with a 1.333 slugging percentage.
