The Omaha women's basketball team hits the road for a non-conference game at Kansas State on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kan.
 
Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Brian Smoller providing play-by-play and Miss Heidrick adding color commentary. Scouting the Kansas State Wildcats
Kansas State is 3-2 (0-0 Big 12) this season after knocking off No. 22 South Dakota State at home on Thursday night, 62-53. Christianna Carr paces the K-State scoring attack while scoring 14.8 points per game behind 39.1 percent shooting from the floor, including 40 percent from three-point range. Ayoka Lee is adding 12.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while Taylor Lauterbach is pulling down a team-high 8.0 boards per game.
 
As a team, the Wildcats are scoring 54.8 points per game while shooting 38.3 percent fom the field and 25 percent from beyond the arc. K-State is outrebounding opponents with a +4.4 rebounding margin and limiting to opponents to 33.8 percent shooting from the field and 52.4 points per game.
 
Head coach Jeff Mittie is in his seventh season at Kansas State with a record of 119-81. Mittie is in his 29th overall season and holds a career record of 573-316.
