OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha women's basketball program released its 2020-21 Summit League schedule in conjunction with the entire league slate Wednesday.
The 16-game schedule has teams playing each other twice at one site, with games held on back-to-back days. Each team receives one bye week.
League play opens Jan. 2-3 with the Mavericks welcoming Oral Roberts to Baxter Arena.
The following weekend, Omaha visits North Dakota State (Jan. 8-9) in Fargo, N.D. The Mavericks return home Jan. 15-16 for a pair of games against South Dakota State.
Following a bye weekend, they return to competition at defending league champion South Dakota (Jan. 29-30) then face Western Illinois at home (Feb. 6-7).
A weekend trip to league returner Kansas City follows, Feb. 12-13. The Mavericks then host North Dakota (Feb. 19-20) for their home finale. One final trip to Denver (Feb. 26-27) concludes the regular season.
Omaha's complete 2020-21 season schedule has not yet been finalized and will be released at a later date. All plans and schedules are subject to change.
