The Omaha women's basketball team opens its 2020-21 campaign at No. 15 Iowa State on Wednesday, Nov. 25. Tipoff is set for noon at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ while Jon Schriner will have the radio call on 1180 Zone 2, entering his second season as the voice of Omaha women's basketball. Links to live stats, audio and video are available on OMavs.com.

Scouting the Iowa State Cyclones
Iowa State was 18-11 (10-8 Big 12) in 2019-20 and returns four starters from last year's squad. The Cyclones were picked third in the 2020-21 Big 12 Preseason Poll and enter the season ranked No. 15 in the Associated Press Preseason Poll and No. 18 in the USA Today Caoches' Poll.
Head coach Bill Fennelly enters his 26
th season leading the Cyclones and holds a record of 523-273. Overall, Fennelly has an all-time record of 689-326 while beginning his 33
rd season.
All-Time Against Iowa State
Wednesday marks the fifth meeting between Omaha and Iowa State, with the Mavericks leading the all-time series, 3-1.
The Mavericks and Cyclones haven't met on the hardwood since 1983, where Omaha picked up a narrow 66-65 win on Dec. 3, 1983. The two teams played three consecutive years from 1978 to 1980, with the Mavericks recording victories in 1978 and 1980.
