OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha women's basketball travels to North Dakota for its first Summit League road contest of the season.

Sophomore
Mariah Murdie is coming off a strong freshman season where she garnered Summit League All-Newcomer honors. This season, Murdie makes the jersey switch from No. 35 to No. 33. In Summit League play last year, Murdie's numbers were 9.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
Her biggest performance was an 11-point, 18-rebound effort against Purdue Fort Wayne on Jan. 24, 2019. The 18 rebounds marked a Division I-era record and tie for eighth all-time in program history. Murdie is coming off a team-high 13 points in the win over Oral Roberts and has notched double figures for scoring in six of her last seven games.
SCOUTING NORTH DAKOTA
A balanced attack, the Fighting Hawks do not have a player who averages double figures, but sit at 11-4 and 2-0 in league play. As a team, North Dakota ranks first in the conference in 3-point percentage (36.8), free throws made per game (19) and free throws attempted per game (25).
The team also leads the league in rebound margin per game at 11.0 in league play. North Dakota owns a 48-8 all-time record over Omaha and has not lost to the Mavericks in the Division I era (4-0). Julia Fleecs leads the team with 10.9 points per game, followed by Jaclyn Jarnot (9.8). Head coach Travis Brewster is in his eighth season with the program. He led his team to an NCAA Tournament appearance after the team captured the 2014 Big Sky Title for an NCAA Tournament appearance.
