IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Omaha men's tennis team fell 6-1 at Iowa on Saturday afternoon in Iowa City, Iowa.
The Mavericks fall to 0-2 on the season.
Doubles Play
The Hawkeyes earned the doubles point after posting victories in the No. 2 and No. 3 matches. Action in the No. 1 match did not finish with the first two matches won by Iowa.
Singles Play
Abdoul Ouattara recorded the lone singles victory for the Mavericks in the No. 1 match. After dropping the first set, 6-4, Ouattara battled back to win the next two sets, 7-6 (8) and 10-6.
