OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's soccer team welcomes Ball State to Caniglia Field at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 before battling Iowa State on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. in Ames, Iowa.

Scouting the Ball State Cardinals
The Ball State Cardinals are 4-0-0 on the season after victories over Illinois State and Loyola Chicago last weekend. The Cardinals edged ISU 2-1 at home before notching a 2-1 victory over Loyola Chicago.
The Cardinals have scored 10 goals in four matches this season. Ball State has taken 11.3 shots per match with 51.1 percent of those on target. Six different players have scored goals for Ball State this season.
The Ball State defense has allowed one goal in four matches this year while recording three shutouts. Cardinal opponents have tallied 9.5 shots per game, including 42.1 percent of those on goal. Ball State leads the all-time series over the Mavericks, 1-0. The Cardinals won 3-1 on Sept. 14, 2018 in Muncie, Ind. In their only meeting.
Scouting the Iowa State Cyclones
Iowa State enters the weekend with a 1-3 overall record on the season. The Cyclones picked up their lone win in a 1-0 victory at UC Irvine on Sunday, Aug. 25. ISU plays at Creighton on Friday night before welcoming the Mavericks on Sunday afternoon.
The Cyclones have scored three goals on the season with three different players finding the back of the net. Iowa State is shooting 8.5 shots per game with 38.2 percent of those on goal.
The Iowa State defense has allowed seven goals in four contests this season. Cyclone opponents have recorded 15.3 shots per match, including 7.3 shots on goal per contest. Goalkeeper Dayja Schwichtenberg is 1-3-0 on the season with 20 saves, a .714 save percentage and 1.75 goals-against average.
