Scouting the Grand Canyon Lopes
The Grand Canyon Lopes are 1-7-1 on the season after dropping a 2-0 decision vs. CSUN last weekend in Phoenix, Ariz.
The Lopes have scored five goals in nine matches this season while being shut out in four matches. Grand Canyon has taken 12.3 shots per match with 37.8 percent of those on target. Four different players have scored goals for Grand Canyon this season.
The Grand Canyon defense has allowed 21 goals this season while recording one shutout. Lope opponents have tallied 14.2 shots per match, including 50 percent of those on goal. Goalkeeper Lauren Garthwaite is 1-7-1 on the season with 44 saves, a .677 save percentage and 2.24 goals-against average.
Lopes to Watch
• No. 3 Emma Anderson - leads the Lopes with four points and two goals in nine starts.
• No. 9 Camryn Larson - tied for second on the team with two points and one goal this season.
• No. 6 Jaycee Iranshad - one of three players with two points and a goal for GCU in the 2019 campaign.

Friday's meeting marks the first all-time meeting between the two programs.
