Robinson Named Director of Women’s Basketball Operations

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha head women's basketball coach Brittany Lange announced the hiring of Courtney Robinson as the Mavericks' Director of Women's Basketball Operations on Tuesday.

Last season, Robinson served as an assistant coach at the University of Sioux Falls and helped the Cougars to a 23-8 mark.

Prior to her stint at USF, Robinson was a graduate assistant at Northeastern State (2016-18) and an assistant coach at Murray State College (2018).

As a player, Robinson completed her final two seasons at Oklahoma Wesleyan (2014-16) after she started her playing career at Oklahoma Baptist (2012-14).  She was named to the All-Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Second Team and was an all-academic honoree twice. Robinson was also honored with the NAIA Champions of Character Award.

In her final two seasons, Robinson played in 64 games, averaging 9.7 ppg (620 total points) with 2.8 rebounds (179 rebounds). She also made 116 three-pointers with 82 assists and 51 steals.

Robinson graduated with her bachelor's degree in exercise science from OKWU in 2016 and her master's degree in kinesiology from Northeastern State in 2018.

"I am impressed with the knowledge, drive and experiences Courtney possesses," said Lange.  "She is a high-quality person who will be a wonderful role model for our players while adding a wealth of well-rounded expertise.  Courtney immediately impacts our program and understands what it takes to separate yourself at this level.  We couldn't be happier to add her to our staff."
