OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha baseball dropped a 13-2 result Tuesday against Creighton at TD Ameritrade Park.
The Maverick plated its only two runs in the top of the ninth inning.

Ben Palensky went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI on the day.
Richie Holetz fell to 0-2 on the season while Creighton's Dylan Tebrake improved to 2-1.
Brett Bonar,
Josiah Scott and
Braden Rogers also notched a hit in the game.
Creighton recorded two grand slams in Will Robertson and Jake Holton.
INSIDE THE INNINGS
Omaha fell behind 1-0 on a passed ball in the bottom of the first. The deficit increased to 5-0 on a two-out grand slam by Creighton's Robertson in the third. A double to left center in the fourth scored two RBI for the Bluejays and put Omaha in a 7-0 hole. Creighton had a single up the middle in the fifth that increased the lead to 8-0.
The ninth Bluejay run came in the bottom of the eighth on a walk with the bases loaded. CU's Holton came up as the next batter and hit a grand slam to left center that put the score at 13-0. Omaha's only two runs came in the top of the ninth when Palensky hit a double to left center that plated
Keil Krumwiede and
Jack Lombardi.

Omaha plays host to Oral Roberts for a three-game series Thursday, May 14, through Saturday, May 16. The first game of the series begins at 4 p.m. The Mavericks aim to clinch The Summit League regular season title and the No. 1 overall seed in the conference tournament with a series win.
