OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha softball team kicks off the road portion of its Summit League schedule this weekend with a three-game series at South Dakota. The Mavericks and Coyotes begin play on Saturday, April 6, with a doubleheader starting at noon before the two close out the series on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Leading Off
• Omaha is 3-30 overall (1-5 Summit League) this season after falling 8-0 at UMKC on Tuesday evening in Kansas City, Mo.
• Last weekend, the Mavericks split a doubleheader with North Dakota. On Saturday, Omaha dropped game one 3-1 before rallying for a 10-8 victory in the nightcap.
• UNO then fell 18-12 in 13 innings on Sunday.

Jamie White and
Janae Cameron each hit over .500 last weekend against UND. White hit .538 with a double and four RBI, while Cameron hit .500 with three doubles and five RBI.

Emma Dargy went 5-for-12 with two RBI and scored four runs.
• For the season, Dargy leads the Mavericks at the plate with a .295 average (26-for-88) with eight doubles, three homers, and 11 RBI.
• Cameron raised her average to .258 with five doubles, two homers, and 14 RBI.

Alexa Sedlak is hitting .253 with four doubles, two homers, and 10 RBI.

Natalie Mostek leads the team with six stolen bases.

Sydney Hampton has a team-low 5.93 ERA in 76.2 innings. Hampton is 1-12 with a save and 39 strikeouts.

Ryanne Millington is 2-10 with a 6.89 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 82.1 innings.

Halley Jones has made 24 appearances with a 0-8 record and 25 strikeouts.
Scouting the South Dakota Coyotes
South Dakota is 22-18 overall and 5-1 in Summit League play. The Coyotes fell 9-1 in five innings at Iowa State on Tuesday. USD outscored Purdue Fort Wayne 23-0 in a three-game league sweep last weekend.
Jamie Holscher, a three-time Summit League Player of the Week, leads the Coyotes with a .395 average, 10 doubles, 10 home runs and 38 RBI. Lauren Eamiguel is hitting .351 with seven stolen bases and 21 RBI.
Alexis Devers has a 3.26 ERA with four shutouts and six complete games over a team-leading 107.1 innings. Devers is 8-9 record with a save. Dustie Durham has a team-best 9-7 mark and two saves with a 3.65 ERA over 88.1 innings. Sarah Lisko is 4-1 with a save.
