GREELEY, Colo. – The Omaha men's tennis team fell 4-3 to Northern Colorado Butler-Hancock Tennis Complex on Thursday.
With the loss, the Mavericks are now 8-16, while the Bears improved to 11-10.
Omaha picked up the doubles point with wins on court one and two.
Abdoul Ouattara and
Matt Dunn were first off the court with a 6-2 win at No. 2.
Davis Lawley and
Nathan Reekie claimed the point with a 6-4 win at No. 1.
Hugo Piles Ballester increased the Mavericks lead with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2. Reekie put Omaha in front 3-0 with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 3.
Northern Colorado won the four remaining matches to take the match 4-3.
