LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Omaha women's tennis program fell 6-1 on the road at Cal State LA Monday afternoon.

The Mavericks fell in doubles action as Natalie Lorentz and Savanna Crowell fell 6-1 at No. 1, Janelle Wilson and Emily Behling fell at No. 2, 6-4, and at No. 3, Marie Kapelevich and Clare Crockett dropped a 6-0 result at No. 3.

The lone Maverick win came by Wilson at No. 1 in singles. Wilson won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. At No. 2, Lorentz dropped a 6-2, 7-5 decision at No. 3.

Savanna Crowell fell 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4, while Emily Behling was defeated in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 5.  At No. 6, Justine Linscott dropped a 6-0, 6-0 result.

The Mavericks continue action on the west coast as they take on CSUN tomorrow at 1 p.m.
