PHOENIX, Ariz. – Junior
Witchayapat Sinsrang is just one over par through the first two rounds of the GCU Invitational at Grand Canyon on Friday.
Sinsrang posted an one-over-par round of 72 and followed with an even-par 71 in the second round to lead the Mavericks in scoring at 143.
The second round was postponed due to darkness with just one group left to finish, leaving places for both teams and individuals undetermined. The last group will finish the second round at 9:45 a.m. CT on Saturday before all 18 teams play the third and final round at the GCU Golf Course.
Cole Christain and
Nick Kagy are tied for second on the team at 147. Christain posted the Mavericks' low round of the day by opening with a one-under score of 70. He had 77 in the second round. Kagy shot a one-over-par score of 72 and capped the day with a card of 75.
Thirawat Chantrakantanond was fourth on the team with a score of 149 that included rounds of 72 and 77.
Parker Waters completed the scoring for UNO with scores of 78 and 75 for a total of 153.
